It doesn't mean, that I do not buy new things... but I buy less, I buy more 2nd hand and started sort of upcycling. I have came across this term very recently, and it stuck in my mind, so much 'on the spot'. I copy the definition of upcycling
'They state that the goal of upcycling is to prevent wasting potentially useful materials by making use of existing ones. This reduces the consumption of new raw materials when creating new products. Reducing the use of new raw materials can result in a reduction of energy usage, air pollution, water pollution and even greenhouse gas emissions.' wikipedia

So I started looking for ideas how to upcycle trash, and I keep collecting bottle cups (for colour sorting games, ice cream sticks for puppet shows, toilet and kitchen foil rolls, cardboard leftovers, different packaging materials and so on).
Now everything in our house revolvs around toys, games ... so does my head around upcycling, laminating, printing ideas. I have got a whole box of potential materials to be upcycled so I am on the lookout for brilliant ideas.
I will try and keep record of the implementation of ideas and the new upcycled products.
